Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the GuideOS platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

GuideOS is the platform that powers the GDD (Guide, Don't Drive) Operating System - a leadership behavior system built for pressure. The platform provides tools for behavioral governance, weekly scoring, drift detection, recovery protocols, assessment tools, session management, and team collaboration features. GDD is the methodology. GuideOS is how you run it.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

New company GuideOS and assessment-only subscriptions are a 12-month commitment billed monthly and automatically renew for successive annual terms until cancellation is scheduled. After a trial, cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual term; monthly payments remain due through that term. GuideOS Individual is $99 per month for personal use only, with no company rights or annual commitment, and renews monthly until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Existing contracts, subscriptions, and historical charges remain governed by their existing terms.

5. Company Trial

New GuideOS company plans have a 7-day trial requiring a payment card. Cancel within 7 days and no subscription charge is due; trial cancellation ends new assessment access, but completed reports remain available. Otherwise, the annual commitment starts after the trial and monthly billing begins. The trial includes two assessment invitations total, choosing GuideProfile or GuideMind. Remaining plan access unlocks after the first successful payment. Assessment-only company plans, individual GuideOS, and one-time assessments have no trial. GuideType and GuideMirror remain free.

6. Assessment Credits

GuideProfile and GuideMind are each available for $79. Existing GuideProfile volume rates remain unchanged. The $129 GuideProfile + GuideMind package adds two paid credits, with one package per order and no bulk package discount. Each unused paid credit may be spent on either GuideProfile or GuideMind within its personal or company ownership scope. Free sponsored credits remain assessment-specific and cannot be exchanged. Credits expire 12 months after purchase and do not grant company subscription rights. Old bulk packs are not available for new purchase; historical purchases are not repriced.

7. Company Scope and Purchaser Declarations

Company plans cover only the purchasing company's own employees and applicants. Resale and use for client companies are not permitted. The purchaser must have authority to bind the organization and supply its name and accurate employee headcount within the selected band. Contact support to update headcount if it changes. Veteran-owned companies may request a 25% discount by purchaser self-attestation of veteran ownership and authority; this declaration is recorded with the purchase. Workshops, coaching services, and custom integrations are separate engagements, not included by purchase of a subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

The GuideOS platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Lowisz Leadership Institute and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Guide Don't Drive (GDD) methodology, operating system framework, and all related materials are proprietary.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through GuideOS, including assessment responses, session notes, and behavioral data. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the GDD platform service.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GuideOS for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the service.

11. Text Messaging (SMS)

GuideOS offers an optional SMS program that delivers account, coaching, assessment, and notification messages to your mobile phone. Participation is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or using GuideOS. By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated and non-automated text messages from GuideOS and Lowisz Leadership Institute. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by disabling SMS notifications in your account settings. Reply HELP for support. 12. Confidentiality

Assessment results, behavioral scores, GDD governance data, and session records are treated as confidential. We will not share your organization's data with third parties except as required to provide the service or as required by law. A purchase does not expand access to individual results or replace the existing assessment sharing consent, results disclosures, and privacy permissions. The Privacy Policy and applicable assessment consent boundaries continue to apply.

13. Limitation of Liability

GuideOS and Lowisz Leadership Institute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

16. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
